Zero signs of improvement between nothing, except everything. and you are seen. In fact I’d argue that he’s regressed as the little things that I did like in his past film are absent here. Also not capitalizing your film titles is the most Gen-Z thing ever.

After reading these past two reviews it probably sounds like I’m a massive hater of Wang’s work, and I guess that’s kind of because I am. That being said though I really do want Wesley Wang to succeed, as someone who has interests in film making myself I’ll always respect the effort that goes into making any film. Right now I can only hope his work improves, not just for his own sake, but for the sake of the generation he is representing. 1/10

Talent runs through his veins, it just needs to circulate👏👏👏

Wesley Wang isn't someone I hate or anything. After all, he has similar aspirations and is an emerging filmmaker. The problem is when he's given a relatively good budget to make the least revolutionary and unoriginal things that no one has ever thought of. Literally, all of his shorts seem like the ideas of a friend of mine in Seventh Grade, SEVENTH GRADE.

I have nothing against him, but the fact that they give so much focus to him and not to others who deserve it more is a bit absurd.

This short has very uninteresting camerawork, the atmosphere it builds doesn't feel real, and the acting is decent but bordering on bad. The dialogue is poor, and the editing could be better as it sometimes feels forced.

I hope one day he finds redemption, because so far all of his work feels super weak. I feel like I put more effort into “El Pintor sin Cara” (which didn't even have a script) than he did into this thing.
