Surprisingly a pretty light movie for such a heavy and important topic! Mixing such tones isn’t an easy task and I wouldn’t say it entirely worked here, but it wasn’t bad either.
Visually lovely; the costuming, production design and cinematography all play together wonderfully. The overall style is vibrant and quirky.
Alexandria Trewhitt is delightful but unfortunately the rest of the cast give pretty pedestrian performances.
