why is he left alone when he has issues? in a house where he sustained significant trauma? i don’t understand. i also don’t understand why all of these characters are boring as shit. in a way, i cared about shelby more than i did nick. why are we having the therapist give a whole ass breakdown in the middle of the film like the audience is simply stupid and can’t piece together some simple tropes and ideas that have already been done a million times??
the acting was ok, i’ll always have a soft spot for parental grief, and it looks pretty decent. story wise, i was thoroughly bored. and it’d also not that scary at all.
