jelly is a captivating, seemingly wholesome short with a bittersweet twist ending. i find that with many shorts like this, such an ending can lead to falling short as a narrative prior to the end. jelly does not fall victim to this, it holds up beautifully without the twist which only adds to the heartfelt nature of the story. beautifully shot and written.
