I Saw What You Did is a surprisingly effective suspense, that works as well as it does because of the characters. Kim and Lisa are fun to watch, their antics remind me of conversations I had with my own friends, and Adrian’s affable yet intimidating presence gives the story a good sense of menace. Shawnee Smith has proven herself to be sublime as a villain in the Saw franchise, but with this movie and The Blob, you can also say she’s one iconic final girl.P.S.: No way it’s by the same director of the original When A Stranger Calls!
