Althought the main idea for this movie was brilliant... it lost it halfway through by giving the main character kinda bland and not so interesting origin of his fascinations and his trauma/identity. We didn't really need to see him go to NYC... it led nowhere, but either way, there is still something magical... new... fresh, 'cause the implants inside our bodies is not that futuristic idea as it used to be. I hope that more films will pick on such ideas and not only like Alex Garland way, but in the more emotional and self-discovery way. I'm disappointed... but loved the cinematography! I'm looking forward to whatever the director will make in the future. Amazing shots, but dissapointed plot in my opinion. Love the way it mixes all kinds of genres.
