Baffling. Otherwise stylish director turns in what should be an insane movie in some way that’s hamstrung by how flat it is. It’s not weird or sexy or noirish or actiony or even just enjoyable as a Dolph vehicle. It’s kind of interesting for how off the mark it is. Like it should be 8MM or Strangeland or a Se7en riff but it’s a semi-comedic skinemax detective caper.
