It's been a long time since I've seen an actually bad movie. I forgot that it's kind of a fun experience as you just sit back and see what's going to happen next after you've lowered the bar as far as it goes.
I can imagine that for a Cleveland resident, this movie would've been really fun since it's basically a love letter to the city. For anyone else, it feels like a jumbled up collection of different Hallmark movies all in the same universe.
I was really sold on this because the idea seemed cute, and I was excited to see that June Squibb and Martin Sheen were in it, but sometimes a movie lets you down!
The one good thing I can say about this is that I really loved the way it was shot. The colors are very warm and cozy feeling. I saw this on a weekday with some skittles and a big Diet Pepsi so I was really just happy to be out and at the movies. There's always worse movies!
