Say Amen, Somebody

I admit, I listened to this movie more than I watched it. So I can’t really judge it based on its visual aspects. I can say, I absolutely adored the music this movie has in it. Maybe I’m just a sucker for Gospel music. Just a fun little documentary about the rise and flattening out of the genre’s popularity.

Really really incredible music! I feel like the narrative was lacking at times, but it’s such an interesting time capsule which documents such giants in music while they were still alive.
