A young lawyer from London, Mr. Ashton, and his best friend are hiking across Dartmoor. When he twists his ankle, Ashton is forced to seek help at a nearby farmhouse and stays there for a few days. Innocent beauty Megan David catches the attention of Ashton. He decides to stay longer, and he and Megan fall in love, much to the displeasure of Megan's aunt and her loutish son.

“i never saw a human creature so changed in my life.”
it's difficult for me to feel bad for mr. ashton after seeing how he ran from megan when she was searching for him....
i do not like joe, i don't like mr. ashton, matter-of-fact... i don't like any of the men in this movie.
only made my fear for british people worse. is cillian murphy british? he probably is. that's why he's so scary.
edit: he's irish, that's even worse.
