this one is definitely up in the upper echelon for so shitty terrible awful they are funny low budget movies. holy shit this was astoundingly ass. the setup is alright, 4 friends stumble across a bag with a shit ton of money.. and kill a girl to keep it. its nothing too original but it can lead to some good psychological and moral situations on screen. this however decides to have the four friends get tracked down by the owner of the cash 💵 and he is a mysterious man who knows things about them that he shouldn’t…
this leads to some drawn out poorly acted tension between the friends. its quite funny at times with the editing and acting being so crappy. it becomes remarkably funny knowing that actor playing the mysterious stranger was also the writer, director, and editor for this movie. you just know he thought he was soooo cool.
the last 15 minutes of this are the thing that made this really standout though.
****
spoilers ahead
outta fucking nowhere.. the mysterious stranger comes back to life (also yeah he got shot in the head earlier.. which happened like 55 minutes after when any real people in this situation would of shot him) revealing that he is a VAMPIRE? it doesn’t do anything for the story and was utilized terribly. most pointless twist i have experienced so far 😂 i cant say it enough that its just so funny that this dude wrote himself to be this character. he also delivers the worst monologue ever.
if it didn’t have the annoying spooky sounds on loop the whole time id bump this to a 2.5 star.
i really appreciate what these kinds of movies give us that bigger movies just cant provide
john was a menace bro 😭😭 him and the vampire both have me laughing 12+ hours after watching this shit
