Pretty good thriller but doesn’t acquit itself of playing as one of the right wing crime fantasies it tries to criticize. It’s not nakedly in love with killing criminals but there’s a lot of grievances about due process and nasty crimes. It’s complicated but it does effectively lead you along the logic of extrajudicial execution.
