I still can’t believe this was made in a 48-hour challenge. I just wish there were behind-the-scenes footage of that process. This is top-tier, ambitious visual storytelling in the short film space. You can clearly tell the filmmaker is a passionate cinematographer because every frame is so carefully crafted. It barely has any dialogue, yet the atmosphere created by the background score is phenomenal, and the dystopian setting is truly impressive. And yes, the ending is absolutely painful.
