All I have to say about this is that it’s abysmal. Night Killer is a terrible film and I’m surprised it has such an okay score on this app. There’s practically nothing redeeming about this movie. I like the actor who played Axel and that’s about it. The biggest reason why this film sucks is its handling of the themes. Now it’s not the most sleazy (it still is but I thought it’d be worse) which is surprising, but it feels incredibly disrespectful. The whole twist and reveal with what is happening is moronic and is a terrible message. I’m just so shocked by this films rating. I don’t mind a sleazy film, but when they compare it with heavy themes, it makes it incredibly disrespectful and uncomfortable to watch. Everything else about this is very terrible and incompetent. The editing stands out as being extremely terrible. There are a few dumb enjoyable lines that makes you question if the director has any hint of what type of film he was making but overall it comes off as completely tone deaf. I laughed whenever the phone ringed cause it reminded me of Doppio for Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. I had to find some sort of enjoyment for myself from this film.
