The most subbaraj movie to come out. He has such a style and it’s wasted by trying to make 3 movies into one. 

Movie 1: a man who cannot smile tries to find love and find the ability to laugh

Movie 2: a loyal adopted son of a gangster navigates breaking out of violence and tries to deal with his own violent nature to find a belevolent purpose

Movie 3: a Krishna-esque prophesy where a baby is destined to kill a trynnical leader of an island 


Are we deadass? You could combine 2 of these storylines to make something good but subbaraj completely fails by stuffing 3

It just went a little off track, that's all - but that's Karthik Subbaraj's making style. Like in the movie Mahaan, the main lead's wife keeps telling him, "You shouldn't drink, don't drink," and we're left thinking, "What's going on here?" Same thing here too - Pooja keeps saying "No fighting," and it gives off that same kind of feeling. It felt a bit off track. If the songs, dubbing, and Pooja Hegde's makeup had been properly set, the movie would have been even better and movie ended well than expected ,2.75/5
