This is the most life I’ve seen Norris have in any movie, fully illuminating that he has no skills as an actor. He tries to play the charming roguish type in this Romancing the Stone ripoff, but falls flat in every attempt.
What’s crazy is that a lot of the elements work. The structure of the movie, the tone, and some fun appearances from real actors make this an almost watchable movie. But in every scene, Norris is there to remind you that this isn’t a real movie.
