So glad I added this to my schedule last minute. Documentaries that play as a narrative are my favorite kind. Orkhan Aghazadeh mentioned that he met Samid while location scouting for a different short film in the village where this takes place in Azerbaijan. To recognize the potential for this story, and then turn it into the film that I just saw on screen, is really masterful work.
