Honestly, this had the potential to be a good romcom. It’s cringe (very, in fact), but in a way that can be fun and entertaining. But the writing….. The relationship between Dhea and Julian didn’t feel fleshed out enough. I just couldn’t see enough history between them and the connection that would justify the way they act toward each other when they meet again.
And then Bimo’s character… way way way too cringey 😭. I just feel like Ganindra Bimo isn’t the right choice for this role. His appearance’s just too serious for him to be acting like this and with the awkward styling, he ends up looking even weirder. Maybe with a different approach, it would’ve worked better.
Personally, I would’ve loved it more if the story leaned into the friendship dynamic rather than an unnecessary love triangle. And the ending….oml… just lazy writing fr. What’s with the twist😭😭 I just want a fun movie dude…Wym Bimo’s the one that killed their parents…., I mean I’m not a fan of his character but MG…
