I don’t mind when slashers take a long time to start the killings, i enjoy all the part of get to know everybody but in this case  the characters or the plot are no interesting enough to care for it. 

It was also lacking in the killings I think, anyways I’ve seen worse, and the mansion was pretty cool. It is kinda in the middle

Overall it’s rather bland especially compared to Edge of the Axe, which personally I think is fantastic. The kills aren’t the most interesting and nor are the characters really and Peter Is just insufferable with his jokes. But I will give it one thing and that’s the design of the actual Deadly Manor it’s pretty intriguing with its decor of countless photographs of one woman, the cracking wall and it’s layout. Apart from that it’s just a rather slow slasher not inherently bad not excellent, just quite average.

If the kills were better this could've coasted to a higher rating. Hits a real sweet spot of "basic horror movie" that you'd catch on TV back in the day.
