world premiere at tiff '25 + q&a with cast + director!

a compelling, albeit comfortable, satirical thriller with a great leading performance from chris evans, but also kind of a mess to be frank! starts off very strong in the first act, but loses steam (and the plot) as it progresses and gets lost in its own mythology 

chris evans was sitting across the aisle from me the whole film though which was cool! anya taylor joy and charli xcx were also further down the row haha. never expected to see him in a role like this but he delivered.

From the outset this presents itself as a satirical critique of hypocritical elites, and it takes you for a really fun ride while indulging in that premise. But it feels like it forgets to present a meaningful alternative point of view?
