Watched this in the theater. And I thought it was gonna be one of those Kdrama movies where everyone cries for no reason and you know, the typical Kdrama with cringe “you know me better than I know myself” type of scenes. But it’s not. It actually keeps things grounded and surprisingly focused.
The twist halfway through completely shifts the story’s tone, didn’t see it coming, but it made everything click in a darker, more interesting way.
The soundtrack blends greatly with the slower, sadder scenes. It’s not overdone, just enough to make you feel what the character’s going through.
Some scenes drag longer than they should, and a few moments feel like they’re trying too hard to be emotional. The dialogue can get a bit stiff too.
Nothing wild, but it works. Just a solid 3 star movie.
