If this film were longer. I think it would have been a really great movie. The plot is a very unique one and a very good one. There are so many great themes and individual scenes. The themes of searching for hope. Pride and blindness. The rich life of pride vs the humble simple life of poorer people. The scene where Emily first gains her sight is amazing as it shows what she was missing in life the gentle kindle of fire and sounds of nature’s beauty. And the last 15 minutes of this film are really good. But the issue is the film wasn’t long enough so plot wasn’t properly developed.
