i‘ve grown very tired of two types of movies:
the one in which disgusting men say the most stupid and outrageous shit and the women somehow always being charmed by it
and the other where theres some jewish representation (that still feels very forced) but instead of celebrating judaism as itself, they bring up israel without any critique whatsoever, simply pretending all is fine.
well, this film manages to be both.
but they also pretend that being jewish and being israeli is the same thing. which is also weird.
