i usually love Clouzot’s movies but this one started off light and quite unusual? i didn’t enjoy it that much but i couldn’t stop myself from watching. BIG MISTAKE. as a sensitive person the finale of the movie made me sick to my stomach and quite horrified. it’s so macabre and unsettling. it fulfilled it’s job but i’m for sure as hell not going to sleep tonight.
