Brain damaged Neverending Story crossed with a goofy meta movie. Largely strange vignettes linked by narration, intertitles, and ADR. Could’ve been a bungled anthology or maybe a couple scripts frankensteined together. Maybe they started with the alliteration and worked from there. It ultimately all comes together in heady stew of nonsense. Specifically, animal people. And a witch? It’s in the woods and there’s evil. Don’t know why this kid is invested in this book.
After Mr. Designer, this felt hyperactive. You really can keep me entertained by just having scenes cut around nonsensically if they move at a clip. This also has a soundtrack that whips.
