A lot of interesting ideas, both thematic and technical, take place in this debut from Tinto Brass. I'm not sure all of the thematic ones work as well as he'd like, but the technical side of things was very interesting and the way in which the narrative uses these ideas is fun enough to justify a watch. I'm sure I'll give this another try after I run through more from Tinto.
