Reading the reviews on letterboxd always makes me feel so simple minded 😭

I love movies that can bring out emotion within me. I was so anxious this entire film— my fitbit went off saying my heart rate was getting abnormally high. Also bawled my eyes out for about 15 minutes straight. Had to hold back sobs. So intense. I really felt like I was in the film.

Maybe i’m just not as critical as other people on this app— but I loved it! Stressed me tf out tho

Watched at Santa Barbara International Film Festival 😎😎

I really had a great experience watching this and talking to and congratulating Auden Thorton walking out of the theater was just amazing for me. I loved diving into the remote world of Nova Scotia which I had no knowledge or understanding of and I think this movie did a great job of relaying that to the audience

I would have loved to see the characters like James and the relationship he has with his friends and family more fleshed out because I found myself being unsympathetic of his struggles moving through the movie. Also, I get that the dialogue was supposed to be 80s but it took me out of the narrative and felt clunky at times
