First hour is a bit rough but when it gets going I really fell in love with this like this is about to be on my tv 24/7 as background noise because I love this series. 

Brought alot of new knowledge into the series for me and helped me further connect with the series…which is insane because I lived and breathed Chucky my entire life (up until around Season 3 of Chucky’s airing). I loved seeing past cast praise the new cast as well as touching on not returning/ almost returning but not having VISAs. 

Don Mancini writing Catherine out of Child’s Play 2 knowing she was fully ready and willing to do it…you will pay, ALSO take a shot every time during this that Don Mancini says the word “Gay”. This really hit a home run in the areas I felt Living With Chucky faltered. Love how half of this is Don Mancini just flipping off every celeb who spoke out against the franchise.

Wish it was longer…I would have loved to see the Remake/ TV series touched on as after a 5 hour runtime viewed across a couple nights I feel incomplete having not having 4 more chapters on those 4 installments/ coverage of cancelled sequels.

My favorite segment was the coverage on the first movie, specifically learning about the director, Tom Holland. I loved the story of Holland making Andy’s actor cry by yelling about his parents being divorced, lol like my god dude. And for the first hour of the documentary everyone was quite cordial about Holland but with some sort of undercurrent of not liking him, especially Don who definitely held a minor grudge about the many script changes, but then at an hour and 15 everyone just unloads on him and I was roaring laughing.

I also loved that, starting with Bride, I love that you can see everyone’s faces just light up, particularly Don and Brad Dourif. Their and everyone else’s love for this franchise really shines through and it makes them all very endearing.

I loved how they got almost everyone back from all seven films, but I didn't like the actual documentary aspects particularly the narration and video graphics that reminded me more of a subpar youtube video essay.

I did find the complete lack of mention of the series to be strange.
