Good, but had so much potential to be great.
A good film with a nice moral. Shot beautifully on real locations with great performances from everyone. The story thoughtfully explores the use and execution of AI across industries and the problems it creates, while simultaneously following 2 to 3 plots, the AI story and the personal lives of each character.
The only thing missing is depth in each plot. I wanted more from the AI storyline, and equally more from the relationship storyline. Both felt half full, like the makers chose to stay at surface level instead of diving deeper into either. Which is a shame, because the story and moral are genuinely strong. Why not use that foundation to go all the way with both topics you are exploring.
