the movie itself, loved. happy int. women’s day. some editing was lazily done and some shit was mad corny (saying this as a privileged but nonetheless south asian muslim girl too) like what was the club scene 😭. anyways i noticed the production company was angel studios which are mormon owned so my ass was mad vigilant abt weird shit in the script. for example “praying to allah so he can forgive me for shaking hands w the boy” come the fuck onnnn lmaoo. ig it’s a reality for some but.. like some of it was cornyyy. beautiful and inspiring story regardless.
