Another short pre-code picture about an Indiana boy who spends three days in New York City and almost immediately gets accused of murder. This is probably a story that could be better if it was more fleshed out, I do find the story interesting, but as it is it's far more amusing than anything else. I think how you respond to this film is how you perceive Eric Linden's lead character who is all gee willikers and painfully naive, you may find him annoying and a damper on the whole thing, personally I find it hilarious. But Joan Blondell is truly the star here, and the rest of the supporting cast is fairly vivid and memorable, along with an uncredited young Bogey again.
