This one really isn't it, unfortunately. The movie drags on way too long for something to happen. And when something finally does happen, it isn't great. I didn't expect too much because I had already been watching for about an hour without anything really happening, but it definitely surprised me in a bad way.

The Fairfield County four Is a found footage horror movie with some good ideas and atmosphere but it's budget along with the ending holds it back from from being a Blair witch or as above so below.
Following a podcast team as they go to a town to investigate a cryptid in the small town. The story is fine. It's not terrible and I like some things but even with it's short runtime it feels like it drags near the end.
I'll start with what I like. I think as a short or an episode of supernatural or x files this could work. The movies focus on the town and as the four go to town ask about and explore the town is the most interesting and engaging part. I wish it gave some subtle foreshadowing or something more during that segment but it's not done terribly.
The ending just feels very sudden. For the budget I think the werewolves good. The gore and attack scenes aren't bad either. The problem comes with the suddenness of it. I also would have liked more werewolf lore about it works.
The wraparound segment isnt bad either. It's interesting enough but I would have liked to see more questions to solve the mysteries presented in the movie.
