This movie felt more like a drama than a movie. There was conflict throughout the WHOOLLE movie, I was stressed out.

i too felt like the daughter wanting to go to art school and her mom fighting with her five sisters because they have undeveloped feelings about eachother

Went into my first Vietnamese film completely blind, and it took a while for me to settle into its rhythm. There’s a focus shift that occurs about halfway through where it really finds its footing. The five main performances were very strong, and the chemistry between them made even the more melodramatic moments work for me. Not every scene landed, but I did laugh a lot. Definitely a solid, very well-acted family dramedy.
