i was expecting this to be more of a prototype/set-up to the later full length feature but it actually works pretty well as a companion piece, almost to the point that i don't know if it would work as well as a standalone film. or at least that's what i thought before i realized that this was a "documentary" ?

A short film that, to me, juggles with the idea of being experimental and a documentary, showing the rough, divisive, and risky side of emigration. However, I think that the execution could've been better, since it could have tackled a wider view of the characters' struggles.
