The New Yorker at 100 is exactly what you’d expect from a documentary chronicling and celebrating the history of the magazine. As someone who hasn’t been overly attentive of the magazine, learning more about both their past and their general purpose was very interesting.
I’ve only ever read Richard Brody’s work, so seeing what else the magazine is about actually made me want to read more. The film is at times a tad self-important, but through seeing the film, I guess it’s warranted.
Nice documentary encapsulating the importance of great journalistic work. It made me download their app.
