Apparently I’m the only one on here who thought this was absolute shite, so I’ve decided to leave my first ever review on this site just to explain why.
This is only 15 minutes long, and still feels like a waste of time. It’s show and don’t tell approach is completely ineffective for me as it just left me hoping for a bit more story for me to grasp. Essentially, this is just a bog-standard British drama that captures the aesthetic of similar works without actually going anywhere with the story. I do appreciate that you can only do so much in 15 minutes, but for a story so specific I’m going to need to see much more before I can get into it.
People seem to be praising this film because they can relate to it very well, which is understandable. Perhaps you shouldn’t watch this if your a miserable, straight, white man like me. But to end on a positive note, it was well acted and well shot, so I won’t give this the lowest possible score.
