Reiko ike shows her dramatic chops in the Insatiable. Her girl boss roles may be more fun but as Yuki Reiko shows tragedy, trauma and anger.
The Insatiable brings the sleaze of a pinku movie with a dramatic story of a woman assaulted working through trauma. When she meets someone good her life is thrown in chaos and she goes for revenge. The story is done well incorporating sleaze with the drama. The ending is done well and it's tragically good too.
The characters are pretty good too. Yuki is a good character to follow. Her dynamic with the boyfriend and Sandra is one of the highlights for me. It also leads to a pretty good shower scene so there's that. The villians are all despicable and you want to see them get theirs.
The movie is well shot too. One shot with Sandra looks very good and my favorite part in the movie. The revenge in the end is done well.
In the end the Insatiable is a dramatic pinku movie with good characters, an interesting story and a tragic feel. I quite enjoyed it but I'll definitely say I like Reiko girl boss roles more.
