i went into a theatre at 2:30 a.m. when they had Ballerina, Mission Impossible and most importantly Final Destination playing, but all i saw was a local horror cum Tv serial flick. I cannot forgive myself too.
This is a moment of concern for Pakistani Industry. The influence of Pakistani TV serials is very evident on the feature films too. The trailer was still promising but all they offered in the film was repetitive tropes. Wtf was the message did not understand the weight of it. They could have had explained it in 2 minutes, why make a film this long and this repetitive Conjuring voodoo shit.
Don't get me started on Vfx, is this the death of prosthetics? Even hollywood doesn't use fully CGI ghosts or creatures, they can't scare shit.
I wouldn't have been this furious if i watched it free on a 32 inch tv. but unfortunately i didn't.
I watched it on a big ass screen and paying money.
Maybe, i would have enjoyed it more if i was just a normie going to the cinemas or watching movies once in a blue moon or if i wasn't very exposed to true cinema.
THE ONLY GREATT FACTOR OF THIS FILM WAS ITS STELLAR PERFORMANCES. made it still watchable especially Samina Peerzada.
The writing and screenplay was off and ofc written by a woman so a lot of saas-bahu shit.
I WANT TO TALK ABOUT TS SO BADLY-
Our audience doen't have groundlevel civic sense/etiquettes of a theatre. This is a temple like place to me. People should understand and respect that.
Laughing on their inner jokes and gossips while a movie is being played
for which i have paid to watch.
Especially middle aged women
