i think that yuiga does a great job at creating a very gen-z like film about grieving and living life without your mom and dad. i definitely relate to ren telling his dad that he doesn’t get it and laughing everything off because that’s how we all feel when we’re a kid and an adult (still being view as a kid to them).
also yuiga was the first director to actually acknowledge the volunteers and say thank you to us and that i say arigato gozaimasu sweet yuiga!
