In my opinion “Data Tutashkhia” captures the struggles of an outlaw in more interesting ways and compared to this one, is a better movie overall. This wasn’t exactly bad, but I have definitely seen better. A few characters were abandoned halfway through the movie, and it pretty much gave up on them. A lot of the dialogues and monologues plainly ignore how society works and the movie has a pretty naive Robin Hood view on some complicated issues. Fighting scenes were shot really well, it was definitely intense and suspenseful. Background music went hard as well, it is one of the most iconic pieces of Georgian folklore, and rightfully so. However, the lack of character depth and sole focus on the friendship aspect makes this movie very superficial.
