Elliot gould and james cann doin some three stooges/marx brothers revival shtick. When 70’s did “madcap” they really missed the mark like every goddamn time, and it’s always problematic in hindsight. The thing that carries it it for me is Michael Caine for sure, and I kept wishing it focus on his heist more than gould and caans old soft-shoe.
Diane Keaton sure was trying too.
