So like is Buttons a real character in Cinderella?, then why is he not in the Disney version. So he’s just the gay best friend then?. Cause he was like an NI Troye Sivan.
Checked this out cause it was on iPlayer (and counts as a 2025 theatrical release, as it’s in cinemas currently). So 😏.
Okay I don’t know the current CBeebies cast. I don’t have any younger cousins who still watch CBeebies. I went in blind. I didn’t really enjoy this (I am 20). The songs weren’t that good, and the jokes were… you know panto jokes.
I must say, it is very colourful, especially in iPlayers’ HDR making it the lighting and costumes so vibrant. It was nearly blinding. It’s not a “it was better back in my day”. I literally do not remember any BBC pantos (wait what’s the one with Bernard Cribbins?). I just think I’ve grown out of it and that’s strange cause I don’t feel grown out. But I’ve grown out of Panto. Panto is not for me. I’m okay with that. I know people who perform in panto and I admire them a lot.
