It’s got all the right parts, but the villains are so cartoonish and the protagonist is so stoic that it almost feels like a graphic novel or a video game. That’s not necessarily bad, but the whole thing felt pretty shallow. However, like many others, I enjoyed the over the top Ed Harris performance. It had his wife and newly awarded Oscar winner Amy Madigan so I will besmirch this film no longer, but I also wouldn’t recommend it either.
