Literally two people left the cinema midway. Does that mean the movie successfully hit its target???
I haven't seen One Cut of the Dead and didn't know much about this movie beforehand, but this remake's experience was hilarious. Using itself as a vehicle to roast the 'trash movie' scene in Vietnam. To be fair, if the script weren't a remake, it would have been a creative way to approach such a controversial issue. It nailed that specific vibe but left us with nothing else. I honestly have no idea how to properly rate this, hahahaha. Regardless, it managed to keep the atmosphere really funny for the full 130 mins.
