this rating is completely detached from criticism through a feminist reading and the embedded misogyny because this movie tried hard enough to scream "girl power!" (but from a man's perspective!) and honestly it's laughable. if i can excuse the blatant hypocrisy of patriarchy i might as well excuse the tackiness, the horrible dialogue writing and recycled dayo wong plotline... then yeah! this is a solid 2-and-a-half-star movie!
