The idea of a cursed movie was really interesting and the opening scene had me hooked right away. There were scenes that were actually scary, especially when Chaba shows up, but then there were also ones that felt kind of silly and took away the tension. The movie theater setting was a nice touch, though, it made the story feel a bit different from other horror movies I've seen.
The characters didn't really stand out much, and Shane honestly just felt more irritating than someone I'd root for, while Som carried the story better and made it a little more engaging. Chaba herself was creepy enough to stick in my head and the thought that the curse follows you outside the theater is such a good idea. I just wish they gave her backstory more depth and built a stronger atmosphere around it, because if they did that, the movie would have been way scarier.
