I just finished reading Charlie Kaufman's original screenplay for Being John Malkovich, which has an entirely different and ridiculous 3rd act that I'm glad was changed for the final film, but it reminded me that I still hadn't watched this little short film that he directed.
It's very nice to just sit with this woman's thoughts and observations, and to quietly take in the beauty of the city, although her words go by in a stream of consciousness that's hard to keep up with and hard to actually glean anything from. I'd love to see a more substantial collaboration between Kaufman and Eva H.D.
