This is a movie that has been on my watchlist ever sine I got into the entire genre of extreme-horror, and I will say right now I am super happy I waited to watch this until I felt mentally capable enough to intake such violence. This movie had some of the most sickening scenes I have ever seen in my entire life. The reason I rated this movie so highly, considering how shitty it realy is at it's core, was that I was distubered. I think the director did an amazing job at showing how disgusting and prevelant anti-sematism truly is and how it infects a culture of people. One part of this movie that I thought was so well done and brought it together was how they just ambush the family, you barely make it 10 minutes in before they kill the youngest child, not many movies have the willpower to do that anymore! When we watch these types of edgy movies alot of people complain on how the violence is unincited, or just torture porn, and while it is- this movie makes it into what it truly is; political. The violence is all at hands of Neo-Nazi's, showing us that their violence and hatred is a political issue and not just a directors lazy excuse to show people being harmed.
Also, lowkey concering that the actor that played Three has played a nazi more than once… he's just doing it for the love of the game.
