I usually got a pretty biased view of Russian movies cause most of em end up bein some kinda snoozefest. Rare exceptions, mostly war movies. But this one I think a friend told me about while we were ridin the subway, he was talkin bout it n I was like huh sounds cool, disaster movie, gotta check it out
So I put it on n damn it was actually interesting. Keeps you on edge the whole time, never know what's gonna happen next, characters constantly on the brink. What really gets you tho is that it's happenin in your own country. You can easily picture yourself in that situation n that just makes it way creepier
Plus it's a real scenario, not some ghost or zombie bs, not some giant wave or tsunami that we never get. It's literally the subway which exists in so many cities n you ride it all the time. Then you watch this movie n next time you're on the train you're just sittin there like shit, what if I get flooded right now, try to crawl out of some tunnel n then just get electrocuted into human barbecue. Nice
