Oh dear god. Another one of these political films is what my friends will be saying! But the life of Abbie Hoffman isn't one to be compacted into one film..yet it was. I wasn't that keen, but it did reveal some stuff I wasn't aware of. Abbie Hoffman is a very very important figure for those who lean to the left of the political spectrum, and I'm very glad I'm finally learning about him in more depth. All the members of the Chicago 7 (or eight? What are we calling it??) are curious curious men, and I'd love to do more research than I have. The film was brilliantly done, yet not easy to follow. Will have to give it another wee watch soon. Abbie Hoffman, rest in peace.
